Greenwich Village , New York. The group consisted of Dick Brady, Don Coates, Mitchell May, Ralph Casale, Frank Hubbell, Lenny Pogan, Al McManus andJoe Muranyi . They had instrumental hits on the Epicrecord label with "Washington Square" / "Turkish Delight" released in September 1963, reaching #2 on theBillboard Hot 100 chart, [Whitburn, Joel (1996). "The Billboard Book of Top 40 Hits", 6th Edition (Billboard Publications)] and #1 on the Adult Contemporary ChartsHyatt, Wesley (1999).
