- George Hay, 1st Earl of Kinnoull
Sir George Hay, 1st Earl of Kinnoull (1572 – 1634) was a Scottish nobleman.
He served as a Gentleman of the Bedchamber from 1596, and was knighted around 1609. He was appointed Lord Clerk Register and a lord of session in 1616. He supported five articles of Perth. He was Lord Chancellor of Scotland from 1622–1634, and was created Viscount Dupplin in 1627 and Earl of Kinnoull in 1633. He resisted the king's regulations for lords of session (1626), and upheld precedency over archbishop of St Andrews. He was Captain of the Yeomen of the Guard from 1632 to 1634.
