Idle Toad

The Idle Toad is a registered English political party, fighting elections in the South Ribble district of Lancashire, England.

The party has been registered with the Electoral Commission since January 30 2003. Their name is taken from a newsletter sent throughout the South Ribble district, including Bamber Bridge and Lostock Hall. They are community based and not linked to any specific political ideology.

Idle Toad candidates have won council elections in the area, and currently have councillors on South Ribble's district council and Lancashire County Council.
