December 2 ,1955 inSan Angelo, Texas ) is the currentoffensive coordinator for theNFL 'sCincinnati Bengals .From 1975-77, Bratkowski played
wide receiver at Washington State. He was later an assistant coach at Missouri and the offensive coordinator at Weber State, Wyoming, Washington State and Miami before making the jump to the NFL. In 1992, Bratkowski became an assistant coach with theSeattle Seahawks before being promoted to their offensive coordinator in 1995. Bratkowski left Seattle to become an assistant coach with thePittsburgh Steelers . In 2001, Bratkowski was offered the job of offensive coordinator with the Cincinnati Bengals, a position he still holds today.Under Bratkowski, the Bengals have been in the NFL's top seven in passing offense in each of the last three seasons, and in the top 10 in total offense each of the last three years. In third-down efficiency, Cincinnati's offense has been in the top 10 for four of the past five years.
His father, Zeke, played quarterback for 14 seasons in the NFL, seeing action for the Bears, Rams and Packers.
Bob and his wife, Rebecca, have two children — son Shane and daughter Courtney.
