Description
Leaves 45 cm long, petioles longer than the blade. Blades cordate, on the base lobate, 17 cm long x 14 cm wide, trimmed with long pellucid lines.Stem erect, distinctly alate, cylindrical between the whorls triangular.
Infloresence paniculate, having 9 whorls, branching in the lower whorl. Bracts shorter than the pedicels. Pedicels about 1 cm long. Achenes with the beak 2.25 mm long x 1.2 mm wide, having 4 - 5 lateral ribs and 3 - (4) distinct, big lateral glands. Beak 0.5 - 0.7 mm long, erect.Fassett: says the drawing of the type shows about 10
flowers at a node, on pedicels 0.5 - 1 cm long.Distribution
