next_no = 12"The Final Cut" is the title track from Pink Floyd's 1983's album "The Final Cut". It has never been performed live. The video depicts Roger Waters (with eyes blacked out, possibly referencing that this man "is" Pink) singing to a psychologist and utilizes old film footage of 1930s and 40s life intertwined. It contains a short guitar solo played by David Gilmour.

The orchestral motif is similar to that found on "Comfortably Numb", which was also scored by Michael Kamen.
