nihongo|Yosuke Kubozuka|窪塚洋介|"Kubozuka Yōsuke"|extra=born May 7, 1979 is popular male Japanese actor born in Yokosuka, Kanagawa. Yosuke's father, Takayasu Kubozuka, is the Head of Dept for one of Nissan Motors' research teams whereas Yosuke's younger brother, Shunsuke Kubozuka, is also an actor. He graduated from Kanagawa prefecture's Yokosuka Senior Highschool (横須賀高等学校). Yosuke is currently married and has one son.

On June 6, 2004, he survived a fall of approximately 26 meters from the balcony of his ninth-floor condominium in Yokosuka, Kanagawa Prefecture, without lasting injury. Film career

Yosuke Kubozuka has been a model for many magazines and TV commercials before starting out his acting career where he debuted in a 1995 TV crime drama "Kindaichi Case Files" and grew in popularity amongst the young female viewers. In 1998, he starred in the TV series "GTO" as the role of an honors student, 菊池善人 Kikuchi Yoshito, and received much popularity. In 2000, he starred in "Ikebukuro West Gate Park" aka "IWGP" (TBS) as the eccentric character nicknamed "King" otherwise named as Andoh Takashi and in turn receiving much attention.

In 2001, he starred in "Strawberry on the Shortcake" (TBS) along with other popular young artists such as Hideaki Takizawa and Kyoko Fukada. In the drama he took the role of being Kyoko Fukada's first love. Because of the successful performance in the drama, Yosuke left an impression that portrayed him as a desirable and prospective male for women to fall in love with and since then, his popularity has been on the rise.

In 2001, "GO!" was officially released for evaluation and this production describes the love story of a young Korean boy living in Japan. The film portrays the day to day challenges faced by foreigners living in Japan. For his performance in this role, Yosuke took home two awards during the Japan Oscar Awards.

Since then, Yosuke took on projects starring in nihongo|"Ping Pong"|ピンポンnihongo|"Kyouki no Sakura"|凶気の桜 as well as nihongo|"Resurrection"|魔界転生.
