They play at Næstved Stadion in Næstved on Zealand, which has a capacity of 10,000, of which around 2,000 are seats.
On June 12, 2006, Næstved-player Rasmus Green suddenly collapsed during training and was - in spite of subsequent reviving-attempts from fellow players, the physio and a present doctor - dead on arrival at Næstved Hospital.[2]
The home kit is green-green-white (jersey-shorts-socks) and the away kit is white-white-white. Alternative kit is red-red-red.
Today the club is on its way back to the top of Danish football, though there is still a long way to go before getting there. After the club's three more or less successful decades from the 1970s till the 1990s, the club in 2000 relegated to the 2. division (the third league of Denmark) for the first time since 1963. The club was then several times just about to relegate to Danmarks Serien and if that would have happened it would be the first time ever for Næstved not to be in on of the three best leagues of Denmark. But Næstved managed to stay in the Second Division and after winning the Division i 2006 it seems that it have entered the First Division to stay.
