J.K. Greye Software was a British software company set up by
John K. Greye and Malcolm Evans after they met at a classical guitar club inBristol in 1981. They produced computer games for theSinclair ZX81 andZX Spectrum home computers .They struck gold with the revolutionary "
3D Monster Maze ", the first 3D game for a home computer, which Evans had already developed before they formed the company. In the spring of 1982, Greye and Evans split up and Evans founded his own company,New Generation Software , which continued to produce games for the ZX Spectrum.
