The Tatnall School is a private school in Greenville, Delaware, for students from three years old through 12th grade. The school was founded as an all-girls school in 1930 by Frances Dorr Swift Tatnall at her home in downtown Wilmington, Delaware, and moved to its current location in 1952. Tatnall began to admit boys in 1964. [cite book

Tatnall competes as a member of the Independent Conference in interscholastic sports such as cross country, field hockey, football, soccer, volleyball, cheerleading, basketball, ice hockey, swimming, wrestling, winter track, lacrosse, baseball, golf, tennis, and spring track. Tatnall School has been strong locally in boys lacrosse and girls cross country program has been ranked nationally for the past several years. The boys cross country team won 3 out of the last 4 state championships and 6 consecutive conference championships.fact|date=February 2008, while the girls cross country team has won 4 state championships in a row while also bringing home 5 consecutive conference titles.
