Saint-Eustache, Quebec

Saint-Eustache is an off-island suburb of Montreal, in western Quebec, Canada, west of Montreal on the southwestern end of the Rivière des Mille-Îles. Population (2001 census) 40,378.

A significant battle of the Lower Canada Rebellion was fought here on December 14, 1837; the rebels were defeated and the town burnt. The Battle was to be known as The Battle of Saint-Eustache. The [http://www.autodrome-st-eustache.com Autodrome Saint-Eustache] hosts various stock-car racing, locals drag racing and others race competitions.
