Jonathan Cake

British actor Jonathan Cake (b. 31 August, 1967 in Worthing, England) has worked on various TV programs and series. His most notable roles include Oswald Mosley in "Mosley", Jack Favell in "Rebecca", Tyrannus in the TV epic "Empire" and Dr. Malcolm Bowers in the NBC series "Inconceivable". He also portrayed Alastair Campbell in "The Government Inspector" (2005).

Jonathan, as well as his siblings, were given special nicknames by his mother and father. He was called 'Jaffa' while his sister, Jane, was called 'Fairy' and his elder brother Michael was called 'Birthday.'

In summer 2006, he played the title role in the Shakespeare's Globe Theater's production of "Coriolanus".

He is married to American actress Julianne Nicholson.
