The Liberators

The Liberators

"The Liberators" was a comic book series created by Dez Skinn for the British anthology title "Warrior" in 1985. Skinn assigned the series to be written by Grant Morrison (in one of his first major strips) and was drawn by John Ridgway. One strip saw publication in "Warrior" issue 26 before that title was cancelled. The series was intended to be a spin off from the "Big Ben" strip which also ran in "Warrior".

A two-part Liberators strip by the same team later saw print in the "Warrior" "Spring Special"/Comics International #76 flipbook published in 1996.
