Andrew K. Golden is President of the
Princeton University Investment Company which manages the university'sfinancial endowment . The Princeton endowment returned 17% in 2005 and is valued at $11.9 billion, which makes it the fourth largest university endowment in theUSA . Before joining Princeton in 1995, Golden worked withDavid Swensen as an intern and then as Portfolio Manager at Yale's Investment Office from 1988 to 1993. Golden's investment approach is based on "challenging conventionality."Golden earned his bachelor's degree from
Duke University and his master's degree fromYale School of Management in 1989. Golden also holds theChartered Financial Analyst designation.Golden's brothers,
Dr. Robert N. Golden andJeffrey Golden , are also leaders in their chosen fields, with Robert the Dean of the Medical School at theUniversity of Wisconsin-Madison School of Medicine and Public Health and Jeffrey a lawyer.References
