Jenny Hoyston

Jenny Hoyston is the lead vocalist of the internationally loved political punk and no wave band Erase Errata. She has also released records and performed worldwide under her solo moniker Paradise Island, and performed on records with William Elliott Whitmore, Hawnay Troof, and King Cobra.

"Isle of" released on Sept 11, 2007 on Southern Records was Hoyston's first record released under her own name. Recorded at three different locations (Portland, Detroit and San Francisco), she enlisted the help of engineer friends Christina Files (Shannon Wright, Mary Timony, Swirlies) and Collin Dupuis."Isle Of" received 3.5 out of 4 stars in Rolling Stone upon its release, getting better marks than the Black Eyed Peas and Joni Mitchell, even though Hoyston remains in relative obscurity.

Hoyston recently moved from San Francisco to Portland, OR but still maintains California ties, producing the women-centered Fabulosa Fest that happens each year in Guerneville, CA and occaisionally touring with Erase Errata.
