- Peter Landy
Peter Landy is an Australian television presenter.
Beginning his career in the early 1960s - after attending the
Jesuit Xavier College - he started with Radio 3UL, Warragul co-ordinating horse racing and football broadcasts. He later moved to3UZ Melbourne reporting and presenting news. In 1967 he moved to3AK and also began with TV station Channel 9. In 1971 he moved toSeven Network Melbourne sport reporting. He commentatedAustralian rules football (VFL) games and was noted for his smooth, dry tones. He also covered tennis, boxing and severalOlympic Games , covering rowing events. In the 1970s his commentary was highly rated by viewers.
