He became a tennis professional in 1993, reaching a career high rank of 42 in the ATP Singles during October 1998. Prior to this, he was ranked No. 5 in the junior double rankings (1992), after winning the Wimbledon Junior Doubles title. He played doubles with his brother, Mark Draper, reaching a high rank of 132.
In 2005, he won the
Australian Open Mixed Doubles title with fellow AustralianSamantha Stosur , defeatingKevin Ullyett andLiezel Huber in the final.He was Lleyton Hewitt's coach during the Australian Open.
Golf career
Draper also plays golf professionally, putting him in that rarest category of athlete who has managed to play more than one professional sport. On
