Baljurashi

Baljurashi ( _ar. بلجرشي) is a city in Al Bahah Province, southwestern Saudi Arabia. It is located at around coord|19|51|34|N|41|33|26|E in the elevation of cca 2000 metres. It was the capital of the region which includes the tribes of Ghamid and Zahran. It is the largest city in Albaha Province. Temperature is between 2C in winter - 30C in summer. The best time for a visit is from mid-August to the end of September. Most of the people of Baljurashi live outside it, in summer vacations the population of the city almost double due to people from outside the city.

The people of Baljurashi are well educated, since this city was the enlightenment center in the Southern of Saudi Arabia and the center of the trade, since hundreds of years. They are famous for their contribution to the industrial and commercial firms in Saudi Arabia (especially the oil firms, such as ARAMCO where there are many VP's). Also, people of the area are known for their genuine manners and well spoken. This tribe has been around since the prophet and many are narrators to his Hadeeth.
