The Snowdome have in recent years, added to their collection of activities by building a learner slope underneath the main one, and an ice rink surrounded by a snowmobile track. The Main slope also holds regular 'ramp nights' in which several objects are added including a gas pipe, mini rail and a quarter pipe (which is always positioned at the bottom of the slope).
The complex also contains a large swimming pool (Peaks leisure centre) with a small restaurant that serves chips and other meals. There are also 2 bars on site, both with views over the main slope, the aspen bar also serving food during the daytime.
Current Events
There are currently plans for Sawley Cross properties to build a 120-bed, £6m hotel on land adjacent to the snowdome. Construction will begin in late 2008, for completion October 2009.
