"Hold Ye Front Page" is a best-selling
history book published by "The Sun" newspaper in 1999 to commemorate theMillennium . It documented the history of the last two millennia in the style of "The Sun", winning a top journalism award in 2000 by impressing judges with its educational content, wit and the fact that, although written by two "Sun" journalists, it spoofed the paper. Its sequel the next year, "Hold Ye Front Page II", detailed history from the Big Bang to the Birth ofChrist .
