Blidworth Welfare F.C.

Blidworth Welfare Football Club is a football club based in Blidworth, near Mansfield, Nottinghamshire, England. The club was formed in 1926 as Folk House Old Boys F.C., but changed to Blidworth Welfare F.C. in 1982. Since 2008, the club has played in the Central Midlands Supreme Division.

The current chairman is Alan Whitworth, who has overseen a number of changes at the club. The club is now an FA Charter Standard club and there is to be a massive overhaul to the changing facilities.

The 2007–08 season saw the club start teams for Under-8s, Under-9s, Under-10s, Under-11s, Under-15s and Under-19s. There is also a Blidworth Welfare FC Sunday side.

The first team manager is Dave Hughes, who joined the club in 2006–07. In his first season, Blidworth won the Nottinghamshire Intermediate Cup. Michael Wain is the Reserve team manager, having been appointed at the start of the 2007–08 season.
