Jacob Selmes (born February 13, 1986 in Port Macquarie, New South Wales) is an Australian rugby league player for the Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks in the National Rugby League competition. His position of choice is at prop-forward.

In the 2006 pre-season Selmes was involved in an altercation with fellow team mate Hutch Maiava, resulting in Selmes requiring twelve stitches after being punched in the head. Selmes made his fist grade debut for the Sharks against Penrith on March 17th, 2007 and he's expected to perform well in his first grade career.

Selmes was awarded the Sharks Rookie of the Year in 2007.
