Warriparinga

Warriparinga

Warriparinga (meaning "Windy Place" in local Kaurna language) is the beginning of Tjilbruke's Trail, a Kaurna ceremonial meeting place and European early settlement site. It is situated in the metropolitan suburb of Marion, South Australia and is bordered by Marion Road, Sturt Road and South Road.

Redeveloped into a native wetland in the 1990's, the small lake is fed by the Sturt Creek.
