The cycling path
The cycling path was built on the old railway line Calalzo-Cortina, in 1915 to assist movement during the First World War. It became a tourist path in 1930 and was suppressed in 1967. Today it extends from Calalzo to Dobbiaco. During the year 2004 it was asphalted and generally improved with better lighting in the tunnels. In the next years a hostel will be set up for the cyclists where they can find lodging and food.
