Mysticwars

Mysticwars is an internet role-playing game. In this text based game, players fight with their characters, earn experience and gold, and buy equipment. The "Mystics" refer to the gods of Evermore, where the battles take place. When a player wins a battle, the character sacrifices to the Mystics.

The game is played in tournaments. The Beta Tournament is free, while the Pay Tournament has to be paid for, but there is a cash prize for the winner. The tournaments usually last about a month, then all of the characters go back to level 0.

Battles: Each player takes turns attacking. The harder the character hits depends on weapons and certain skills. Every weapon has a certain number that equals to the numeral amount of damage it can inflict if the character has their stats at 0. Equipping two weapons (instead of a weapon and a shield) will result in two attacks per round.

Character classes

Players can create characters that are either Wizards (magic), Warriors (weapons), and Clerics (balance of both)

Mages equip staffs, Warriors equip knife/sword type weapons and/or shields, and clerics equip both kinds.

Weapons

The following types of weapons are available for warriors and clerics:

• knife
• longknife
• Short Sword
• Battleaxe
• Claymore
• Mystic
• The best warrior weapon in the game is the Mystic's Superior Weapon

Each weapon type has different grades:

• Explorer's (i.e. Explorer's Long Blade)
• Journeyman's
• Bronze
• Steel
• Mystic's
• Hunter's
• Demon's
• Assassin's
• Destroyer's

Stats

• Strength ~ Raw Power of attacks
• Agility ~ The ability to dodge attacks/Raises MV
• Wisdom ~ Raises the damage dealt with MP Skills
• Intelligence ~ Raises MP
• Dexterity ~ Raises accuracy with spells or weapons
• Stamina ~ Raises your Health(HP)
• Offense ~ Gives you a better chance of hitting a CRITICAL hit
• Defense ~ Lessens the damage you take in by other characters/Works as AC

The Latest News

Recently, because of lack of support for the site, Mysticwars is no longer active. The new game is almost the same thing, but with a few changes. It is called "Nightwars"
