Berkovitsa Glacier (Lednik Berkovitsa 'led-nik ber-'ko-vi-tsa) is a glacier on
Livingston Island ,Antarctica . It is bounded by the southeastern slopes of Oryahovo Heights and the northwestern slopes of Snow Peak. It extends 5km in east-west direction and 3km in the north-south direction, and drains northeastwards intoHero Bay betweenAvitohol Point andRemetalk Point . The glacier is named after the town ofBerkovitsa in the westernBalkan Mountains ,Bulgaria .Location
