General Information
* Rio Secco Golf Club was designed and built in 1997 by
golf course architect Rees Jones .
* When Rio Secco opened in 1997 Golf Digest and Golf Magazine voted it among the top ten new public courses. In 2003/2004 Golf Digest - "America's 100 Greatest Public Golf Courses." Voted the # 1 public access course in Nevada by the Las Vegas PGA membership poll.
* Rio Secco can play to over 7,400 yards and very difficult, but also offers four teeing grounds to allow golfers of any skill level a memorable golf experience.
* Rio Secco features 6 holes through steep canyons, 6 holes on a plateau overlooking the city and 6 holes in a broad desert wash.
* The Dress Code is casually enforced (collared shirts, no denim of any kind, sweatshirts or warm up attire are permitted and soft spikes are required on golf shoes).
* In the year 2005 rates ranged from $150 to $275. Summer rates were typically $100 - $150. Green fees include shared golf cart, practice balls and a divot tool.Data
