Shumen Peak

Shumen Peak (Vrah Shumen 'vr&h 'shu-men) rises to 770 m in Friesland Ridge, Tangra Mountains, Livingston Island, Antarctica and surmounts Charity Glacier to the W, Tarnovo Ice Piedmont to the S, and Prespa Glacier to the SE. The peak is named after the Bulgarian town of Shumen.

Location

The peak is located at coord|62|43|43|S|60|15|21|W| which is 1.5 km S of St. Methodius Peak, 640 m S of Chepelare Peak and 1.6 km SE of Tervel Peak (Bulgarian mapping in 2005).
