Saedinenie Snowfield (Lednik Saedinenie 'led-nik s&-e-di-'ne-ni-e) on
Livingston Island ,Antarctica , is bounded byTeres Ridge to the W, the glacial divide between theDrake Passage andBransfield Strait to the S,Gleaner Heights ,Elhovo Gap andLeslie Hill to the SE, andLeslie Gap andVidin Heights to the E. It extends 5 km inland, and 16 km in SW-NE direction and drains intoHero Bay betweenMelta Point andSlab Point .A survey bivouac in eastern Saedinenie Snowfield near
Leslie Hill was occupied24 December -28 December 2004 .The snowfield is named after the
Bulgaria n town ofSaedinenie (‘Reunification’), in association with the 120th anniversary of the Reunification of thePrincipality of Bulgaria and the province ofEastern Rumelia in 1885.Location
