Rustaq

Rustaq ( _ar. الرستاق) is a town in the region Al Bāţinah, in northern Oman. It is located at around coord|23|23|27|N|57|25|28|E.

One of the most important villages of Rustaq is Wobel(وبل). Wobel Village is surrounded uniquely by mountains from the three directions. In addition, a water tunnel which is called Al-Markap Falg flows through the village giving it a touch of beauty. Along this Flag, which could be 2-3 km long, the green palm trees surround the flag which gives the village a green view and clam that can be seen from above or fare away. The village of Wobel is also famous of its active social and sport club which organised several social events every year. In addition, the social committee, which is currently managed by Fahad Al-Abri, has provided the village with several social services starting from providing needed people with essential food and living requirements to collecting money from the citizens to provide the village with any facility required. It is worth mentioning that there are some very famous and popular people such as AL-Boss and Al-Shaib Khasip living in the village.
