Geography Imilchil is a village situated at 2200 m altitude at the heart of the High Atlas East within the province of Errachidia in the territory of Ait Hdiddou one of the tribes of the famous confederation of Ait Yafelman.

Origin of festival The town of Imilchil represents the symbol of the Berber culture of all Amazigh, known for its festival, officially known as betrothal festival traditionally Souk Aam or Agdoud N'Oulmghenni and should not stop there, because this event is puremememt a cultural mingling the mythical, mystical and the artistic and thanks to the tribe of Aït Yaazza remained faithful to the tradition of collective marriage despite the transfer to individual marriage.
