Ann Fagan Ginger (born
July 11 ,1925 ) is an Americanlawyer , teacher, writer, and political activist. She is a founder and the executive director of theMeiklejohn Civil Liberties Institute .Ginger practiced law for many years in
Berkeley, California . She has been a visiting professor of law at a number of schools in California and Washington, is the author of many books and articles, and lectures widely. She is an expert in civil liberties law and peace law under the statutes of the United States and theUnited Nations , and has argued and won before theU.S. Supreme Court .Ann Fagan Ginger is the first wife of historian and author
