"Walk Me Home" is a bubblegum pop song by singer Mandy Moore off her debut album "So Real", released as a single in 1999. The song was re-released in 2000 and it features in the movie "Center Stage"

ong Information

In the wake of her sleeper hit "Candy," Moore released her second in 1999. The single did not receive the same kind of airplay or appeal as "Candy" did and therefore was not as successful, not even having charted on the Billboard Hot 100.

The Video

The music video received its World Premiere on the MTV series "Making The Video". In the video, there are two Mandy's, one famous, and another who is watching from afar. The Mandy from afar watches as the famous Mandy goes to a premiere.

Two known versions of this video exist. The first music video was released on a DVD titled, "Mandy Moore: The Real Story" and features the original version, while the follow-up DVD release that was packaged with "The Best of Mandy Moore" features a cut version, deleting the sub-plot of the video in which Mandy is daydreaming of being with an actor. The cut version implies that she is with the guy, removing references of the guy being someone famous and someone that is not actually with her.
