Re-release

On March 21, 2006, the album was re-released with a new artwork, a slightly different mix, and has the following tracks after "The Caitiff Choir: Defeatism." These tracks consist of a re-recorded version of the Forever Scorned EP, as well as cover of Depeche Mode's "Enjoy the Silence." It is also packaged with a DVD with three music videos and behind-the-scenes material.

*The album content was inspired by Dante Alighieri's Divine Comedy. The Divine Comedy details Dante's fictional voyage through Hell, Perdition and his eventual rise into the Kingdom of Heaven.
*The track "Freak Gasoline Fight Accident" is named after a line in the movie Zoolander.
