Ampthill Town F.C. is a football club based in Ampthill, England. They were established in 1881 and joined the United Counties Football League in 1965. They have reached the 3rd round of the FA Vase 3 times in their history. They are currently members of the Spartan South Midlands League Division One.

In May 2008 an Ampthill Old Boys side took on Chelsea Legends in a game watched by over 600 people. Despite leading for most of the game, Ampthill eventually lost a hard-fought encounter 2 - 1. They have also played a charity match against the Arsenal Celebrity Charity Football Team

Ampthill will once again have two sides competing in the South Midlands Football League for season 2008-09, with the first team - managed by Steve Goodridge - in division 1 and the reserves - managed by Andy Gill - in Reserve Division 2 (East). The club also have high hopes of doing well in both the FA Cup and FA Vase competitions.
