Eric Alexander (born on February 8, 1982 in city-state|Tyler|Texas) is an American football linebacker for the New England Patriots of the National Football League. He was signed by the Patriots as an undrafted free agent in 2004. He played college football at Louisiana State.

He was signed as an undrafted free agent by the New England Patriots on April 29, 2004 and spent the last two seasons on their practice squad. In August 2006, Alexander made the opening 53 man roster.
