Johnathon Byrd

Johnathon Byrd

Johnnie B. Byrd, Jr. is a Florida politician. He served as State Representative from District 62 (R-Plant City) from 1996 until 2004, and served as Speaker of the Florida House of Representatives from 2002 to 2004.

In 2004, Byrd ran unsuccessfully in the Republican primary for the United States Senate, losing to Mel Martinez.
