Hampton Hill is a small town in the South Western
suburb s ofLondon , in theLondon Borough of Richmond upon Thames . Hampton Hill is a nineteenth century offshoot from neighbouring Hampton; and is the overspill of Hampton uphill away from theRiver Thames , and across theLongford River (an artificial watercourse built to supplyHampton Court ) which forms the boundary between Hampton Hill and Hampton. Aside from the residential areas of the town, the High Street is filled with shops, pubs andcafe s, as well as a traditional 75-year old bakery.
