nihongo|"Ayane's High Kick"|綾音ちゃんハイキック|Ayane-chan Hai Kikku is an OVA anime produced by Nikkatsu Corporation. It follows the story of a girl who wishes to become a wrestler, but due to series of events, she becomes a kickboxer instead.

ynopsis

Ayane Mitsui is a very athletic high school girl who wishes dearly to become a great professional wrestler. However, despite many auditions, she has yet to break through. However, a brilliant kickboxing coach notices potential within the girl and persuades her to train with him. The problem - Ayane hates kickboxing and is very vocal about it. But somehow, she has a greater potential with kickboxing and sticks with it. However, some of the less-savory teachers from her high school have become aware of her extracurricular activities and threaten to expel her if they get proof. And if that's not enough, another kickboxer - Sakurako Miyagawa - has taken notice of the girl and wants to fight her in the ring. Will Ayane be able to defeat her... and stay in school as well?

It was released to video in Japan in 1996, and in the United States on DVD by Central Park Media on January 27, 2004.

Characters

Sakurako Miyagawa - A veteran kickboxer. She employed devastating boxing techniques against Ayane during their second round, felling her twice.
