Detroit, Michigan recently signed to the Motown/Universal records label. She is set to release her first album sometime in 2008.Career
Suai, whose mother was also a musician, was composing music on the
piano by age 14. Growing up she playedflute ,cello ,piano , andguitar . In 2003, Suai performed at the unveiling of the restoredRosa Parks bus at theHenry Ford Museum . She competed against 40 other young people for the honor.A graduate of
Cranbrook Kingswood School in 2004 and a Detroit native, Suai launched her singing career withDetroit labelMophillin Records , cutting the single"Forever and a Day" , a soul tune which earned her regional recognition and airplay onWJLB .She currently performs every Saturday at the Rhino @ Harmonie Park on vocals with the
Flexx Band . Her great performances include performing at theCharles H. Wright Museum of African American History , the African American World Festival, the opening forBrian McKnight at Jeorome-Duncan Ford Theatre, and a performance at Hope United Methodist Church."Come Out, Come Out", a joint that Suai wrote and Co-Produced, has been released on iTunes and Amazon for purchase.
