Effron the Sorcerer is not the most famous of the Superman villains, but he may be one of the most diabolical. He appeared out of a fiery pit in the ground, surprising
Superman at every turn. Effron commanded an army of faceless puppets, and threatened to turn Superman, as well as the rest ofEarth 's inhabitants, into faceless puppets to add to his growing army. In addition to clashing with Superman, he has battledGreen Arrow as well.Brief bibliography
