The Typophiles

The Typophiles is a New York City-based organization dedicated to the study and enjoyment of typography, type design, and related arts. Founded in the 1930s, early members included Paul Bennett, Frederic Goudy, and Bruce Rogers. The organization has global membership, quarterly luncheons, a newsletter, and an active publishing programme.
