Rulebooks

These books are primarily rules, and tend to be replaced quickly when a new edition of the game is released. They can be difficult to use with other editions. Second and Third edition were pretty similar, and Fourth edition is quite different than the first three.

sup|†Coming in late 2008.

Location sourcebooks

These books are primarily setting. As such, they are applicable to any edition of the game. The most recent date-stamp within the issue.

Novels

FASA published the original trade paperback through Contemporary Books. All subsequent novels have been published by ROC, with FASA for #1–40, and WizKids for #s w1–w6. When novels were re-released in 2003 the ISBNs were updated to include the four digit FASA SKU (ISBN ×-×××-×FFFF-×), prior to this the FASA SKU and ISBN were generally unrelated.
