JetFax

JetFax was founded by Lon Radin and Rudy Prince in 1988. While the company was not very well known by name, their innovations were well respectedFact|date=August 2008. They were the first company to perfect the laser fax machine, replacing the heat-treated fax machines prominent in the 1980s.

In early 1999, they changed their name to eFax and begin to offer electronic faxes. During the dotcom boom, their stock shot up but fell during the bust. eFax was acquired by j2 Global Communications (NASDAQ: JCOM) in 2000.
