Steven J. Nider

Steven J. Nider

Steven J. Nider is the former Director of Foreign and Security Studies at the Progressive Policy Institute. He is also the former chair of PPI's Defense Working Group, which analyzes potential threats to US national security and promotes military modernization, and a contributing editor to "Blueprint", the magazine of the Democratic Leadership Council. He is one of the co-authors of , released by PPI in October 2003. He remains a senior fellow with the organization.
