Hook Norton F.C. is a village football club based in Hook Norton, near Banbury, England. In the 2002-03 season, they entered into the 2nd Qualifying Round of the FA Vase. For the 2007-08 season, they are members of the Hellenic Football League Premier Division. They finished third at the end of the 2006-7 season and were told they qualified for promotion to the top division of the Hellenic League so long as various ground improvements took place. The last time they were promoted they had to share with Banbury United. But after a long battle they have won planning permission to erect floodlights and other facilities at their own ground. So during the summer of 2007 there is a race against time by officials to make the necessary upgrade. And, late autumn, they made it. Floodlights, two small stands, hard standing, new dugouts -- and a promise of new changing rooms to come. Meanwhile they are holding their own in the top division with a mid-table position as 2008 approaches.
