After Katsuie met his death, Nagayori went on to serve under Maeda Toshiie, and Hideyoshi. Nagayori sided with Ishida Mitsunari during the Battle of Sekigahara, but ended up being defeated. Nagayori took Mitsunari's life to assume the responsibility for the event.
