Brad Barkley is a fiction writer currently teaching at
Frostburg State University . He is known mostly for writing the book "". Barkley was born inGreensboro, North Carolina . He has two children, Lucas, 17, and Alex, 15. Barkley also has a half-beagle half-chihuahua dog , Nellie.Besides "Alison's Automotive Repair Manual", Barkley has also written "Money, Love"; "Another Perfect Catastrophe"; and "Circle View", and has co-written "Scrambled Eggs at Midnight". His novels have been translated into German, Japanese, and Portuguese. His short stories have been published in over 30 magazines, including the "
