Society of business practitioners
- Society of business practitioners
The Society of Business Practitioners (SBP) UK is a senior examining UK institution providing vocational qualifications in business, management and marketing. The Society's Diploma awards are valuable, internationally recognised business qualifications which attract credits and exemptions from other institutes and educational establishments not only in the UK, but in the US and Australia as well. All courses are set, moderated and examined at the undergraduate level. Employers in commerce and industry look to the Society to provide professional business executives capable of enhancing business performance.
A Postgraduate Diploma in Business Administration - PGDBA, from SBP UK is essentially a British professional qualification. However, in academic terms it may be comparable to US bachelor degree standard, as evaluated in the past by the World Education Services (WES), USA. WES is a not for profit organization with over thirty years’ experience evaluating international credentials. In line with the constant review and update of syllabus content of courses, specialist courses have been developed. These include individualised training programmes via the Continuing Professional Development - CPD units specially tailored for the corporate industries. A three stage information technology course was introduced in 2005. More recently, an advanced diploma in accounting programme (ADA) was launched in 2007.
