Dr Thunder (also known as "Chunda") is a brand of soda produced by Wal-Mart stores and canned in Bentonville, Arkansas, United States.

Dr Thunder was originally called "Southern Lightning," but the name was changed to reflect the striking similarities to Dr Pepper. The label of Dr Thunder has recently been redesigned to say that " You've never been deep, until you've been Dr Thunder deep."

Dr Thunder is often considered a "mirror soda" to another Wal-Mart brand, Mountain Lightning. weasel-inline
